Working Principle of High-Frequency Vacuum Drying Machine:
High-frequency vacuum drying is a combined drying method that integrates high-frequency dielectric heating with vacuum low-temperature drying. It is a rapid and nearly waste-free drying method, particularly suitable for the drying of hardwood and heavy timber.
High-Frequency Heating: Also known as high-frequency dielectric heating, it converts ordinary 380V AC power into a high-frequency electromagnetic field after boosting and rectification. High-frequency heating can be achieved through related supporting equipment with anode and cathode plates. High-frequency heating is a penetrating heating method where moisture in the electric field is uniformly heated. Moisture-rich areas absorb more high-frequency electric fields, while moisture-poor areas absorb only a small amount. This ensures efficient utilization of high-frequency output power. Wood or fiber media, due to their non-polarity, barely absorb the electric field, resulting in virtually no waste of high-frequency power, energy conservation, and reduced drying costs.
Vacuum State: The vacuum state primarily leverages the lower boiling point of water under vacuum conditions, accelerating evaporation speed and increasing the moisture gradient on the wood's surface. During the drying process, wood surface moisture evaporates into the surrounding air, while internal moisture continuously migrates to the surface. This accelerates drying speed at lower temperatures, ensuring high-quality wood drying. The vacuum state, being a negative pressure state, has a certain water-absorbing effect, which complements the high-frequency pressure gradient, further accelerating the expulsion of moisture from the wood's core. Additionally, under low-pressure conditions, the oxygen in the drying medium undergoes minimal discoloration due to thermal and oxidative effects, largely preserving the natural color of precious woods.
Based on these characteristics, high-frequency vacuum drying for wood has become a scientific and environmentally friendly drying method, especially suited for drying hardwood with large cross-sections.
Features of High-Frequency Vacuum Wood Drying Machine:
Rapid Heating and Drying: Utilizes high-frequency heating to achieve rapid temperature increase and fast drying speeds for wood.
Uniform Heating and Quality: Simultaneous internal and external heating ensures uniform heating and high quality, preserving the wood's natural color.
Vacuum Water Extraction: Reduces drying temperatures, enabling low-temperature vaporization of wood, minimizing cracking, and enhancing dehydration speed.
Environmentally Friendly: Does not pollute the environment.
Pest and Pathogen Elimination: High-frequency waves kill insects and bacteria hidden within the wood, further ensuring drying quality while shortening the drying cycle.
It is particularly suitable for drying thick, hard woods and large cross-section lumber (which require long drying times with conventional methods), as well as precious woods like rosewood, and huanghuali, and wooden flooring. It is also used for small-batch, urgent secondary drying of moisture-laden wood.
Configuration of High-Frequency Vacuum Drying Machine:
Intelligent Human-Machine Interface for Automatic Control: Operators only need to set basic parameters such as drying process, initial moisture content, and desired final moisture content. The drying process is fully controlled by the program.
High-Frequency Automatic Tuning: Requires no manual adjustment. The fault detection system constantly monitors the equipment's working status. If a fault occurs, the equipment powers off, alarms, and displays fault information.
Temperature Monitoring: Utilizes fiber-optic temperature sensors for accurate, uninterrupted temperature detection, avoiding data errors from ordinary metal probes in electric fields. Temperature monitoring ensures drying effectiveness.
